Helena Romanes Sixth Form Students Celebrate Excellent A-Level and Vocational Success

Students at Helena Romanes Sixth Form are celebrating an outstanding set of A-Level and BTEC results today, securing destinations at top UK universities, competitive degree apprenticeships, and entering employment.

The strong performance across both academic and vocational subjects sees the majority of Year 13 students accepting their first-choice options.

Russell Milne, Director of Sixth Form, praised the cohort’s dedication:

It is wonderful to welcome our Year 13 students back to collect their results. They have worked extremely hard and shown immense discipline to achieve these results. Whether they are heading to university, starting employment, or embarking on degree apprenticeships, we are incredibly proud of their tenacity and ambition. The entire Sixth Form team and teaching staff wish them every success in their next steps.”

University & Apprenticeship Highlights

Among the individual successes celebrating this morning:

  • Jasper achieved A (Business Studies), A (Economics), and B (Geography). After a gap year, he will study Urban Planning, Design and Management at University College London (UCL).

  • Finlay earned an A (Psychology), A (Criminology), B (EPQ), and a Distinction* in Health and Social Care. She is excited to begin her Law degree at the University of Exeter this September.

  • Emma achieved a highly competitive Law Degree Apprenticeship after navigating a rigorous five-step interview process. Having represented Helena Romanes since Year 7, she recently signed her formal employment contract.

  • James (A in Economics, B in Geography, B in History) will begin a Business Development and Accounting Degree Apprenticeship with First Intuition, while Rufus (B in History, B in English Language & Literature, C in Economics) has already begun his accountancy degree apprenticeship.

  • Evan, an international swimmer who has represented England on multiple occasions, secured a spot at the University of Stirling. He will study Sports Psychology while training on a swimming scholarship alongside top UK athletes.

  • Faith achieved an A in Art, B in Criminology, and a Distinction* in Health and Social Care.

  • Sam achieved a Distinction in BTEC Business Studies.
