A LEVEL & BTEC RESULTS

A-Level  and BTEC results 2023

The Helena Romanes Sixth Form are celebrating some of their best ever A-level and BTEC results with the highest ever number of A* and A grades achieved.

Director of Sixth Form, Lee Cooke said “It has been fantastic to welcome our students back into school to collect their exam results and celebrate their success with them in person. Despite the obvious disruption caused by the pandemic, including not sitting their GCSE exams externally in 2021, this cohort have shown amazing resilience and dedication to their studies to achieve some outstanding results. We would like to thank all of the teaching staff, support staff and parents for encouraging and supporting students through their A-level and BTEC studies. The Sixth Form team are extremely proud of all of our students and we wish them all the very best for the future as they move into their future pathways in further study, training or employment.”

Ms Davis, Executive Headteacher said: “The fact that the students have achieved so highly is down to their hard work and determination and the excellent academic and pastoral support they have received from staff.  The students have been wonderful ambassadors for the school and we are immensely proud of each of them.”

The fantastic set of results will see the majority of students accepting their first-choice options for either university or apprenticeships and employment.

Amongst those with brilliant results are:

  • Christopher Vaughan who achieved 3 A* grades and one A

  • Zack Dorling who achieved an A* and 3 A grades

  • Dylan Jewiss who achieved an A* and two A grades

  • Shona Pathak who achieved an A* and 3 A grades

Klara also arrived bright and early and was equally as happy, commenting: ‘I’m delighted with my results. These grades have allowed me to go to the University of East Anglia to study Economics. I would like to thank everyone at HRS for their support over the last two years’
